My client is a market leader, at the frontier of drug research and development, with promising first-in-class and potential medical breakthrough pipeline projects. This creative role brings autonomy and full responsibility for the development of patient-reported outcome measurement strategies, to ensure that the patient perspective is captured in the clinical trial programs working in an exciting business unit for Inflammation in Rheumatology and Gastroenterology. Within this team, you are encouraged to challenge the status quo and explore all avenues to ensure optimal market access.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and conducting strategic HEOR initiatives that advance innovative methodologies for patient relevant evidence generation and value demonstration with PRO/COA
- Piloting and continuously developing cutting-edge methodologies for PRO/COA development, adaptation, validation, translation, through to implementation
- Support and plan on evidence generation, value creation and defence, as we seek to secure optimal patient access, prepare for HTA assessments, and support formulary listing
- Complete responsibility for driving strategies for patient access programs for early pipeline products, ensuring HEOR and Value Generation strategies are aligned
- Support trial design and create solid endpoints for early pipeline products, further ensuring high probability of future reimbursement
- Work with cross-functional team members and country colleagues, to better appreciate evidence gaps and develop evidence generation plans within and beyond our clinical development program that shape the value proposition for our assets
Job requirements:
- Master’s Degree or PhD in Health Economics, Health Psychology, Health science or closely related discipline
- Several years of proven experience in the pharma/biotech industry or consultancy at regional level
- Extensive HEOR & Pricing experience supporting launch and prelaunch activities for inflammation and immunology products, including influencing clinical trial design to support optimal market access
- Ability to inform strategic decisions regarding the required content of clinical development programs as well as outcomes research studies to achieve and sustain optimal market access, with a thorough understanding of study designs that provide most relevant evidence to payers
- Expertise in designing, generating, synthesising, and communicating patient-reported evidence that meets requirements of HTA agencies and payers in major markets
- Excellent communication skills in English
