During a time of rapid expansion and growth, an exciting new opportunity has become available to a world-leading pioneer in gene therapy, working as a Process Analysis Expert.

This opening provides you with the opportunity substantially advance improvements in the viral vector industry, for the treatment of rare and serious diseases. You will hold a highly visible role in the collaborative effort to transform the lives of patients suffering from disorders, through implementing new ways of working.

Driving the overall success of these projects, you will work within the Innovation division alongside Analytical and Process Development. As the Process Analysis Expert, you will hold a new and unique position that will soon become integral to the organisation. Acting as an evangelist for new ways of working, your strategic delivery of data projects will be allowing the team to successfully improve internal activities to drive forward our client’s viral vector programs within gene therapy.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a champion for the cultural transition – building out the new data analysis system and demonstrating the value of data projects while engaging the project teams
  • Leading complex data projects that support the whole organisation, comprising of various modelling approaches and insights to support viral vector manufacturing processes
  • Enabling continuous innovation through the implementation of new techniques, improving data interpretation and process yields
  • Apply insights from the analysis into the directed design of experiments and hypothesis testing

 

You will bring to the role:

  • Advanced education (PhD) within the area of bio/chemical engineering, with an emphasis on modelling or process analysis techniques
  • Experience driving data build and successfully managing multiple data projects
  • Proven capabilities with MVDA approaches, including backend user systems such as JMP, Matlab and Python
  • Experience with biologics (cell and gene experience would be advantageous), with experience in USP & DSP in order to support analytics and process data projects
  • Fantastic collaboration skills with the ability to thrive in a cross-functional and dynamic setting
  • Fluent in English (basic French is advantageous)
