Role Overview:
Due to an exciting affiliate expansion in the Nordics, a worldwide leader in Immunotherapy is hiring for a confident and experienced Key Account Manager to bring their portfolio into Finland.
This is a rare opportunity to walk straight into the launch of an approved and reimbursed Allergen Immunotherapy product that has already had success across Europe. Their experience with launching these products in other regions means that there is an established back office already in place, and a central marketing team to leverage. They also have an exciting first-to-market product in the pipeline, so this is by no means a one hit wonder.
As the stand-alone Key Account Manager for Finland, you will take ownership of developing a strategic action plan to create and maintain a strong customer base of prescribing doctors and key opinion leaders across the country, growing the portfolio in this region. This is a fantastic opportunity for an entrepreneurial, innovative self-starter to make a real impact in the business and change the lives of countless individuals suffering from allergies every day.
You will be responsible for:
- Identifying and developing relationships with high-potential prescribers, maintained with consistent communication
- Providing information to healthcare professionals on promotion, institutional information, safety of use, and assistance in initiating Allergen Immunotherapy (AIT) treatments
- Partaking in visits to customers across the country, with occasional travel to other Nordic regions to meet with Key Account Manager counterparts and the Nordic Sales Manager
- Maintaining quality knowledge of the sector and stakeholders to effectively communicate with customers
- Using marketing campaigns to deliver information to and influence the behaviour of the customer, then collect feedback from the field
- Ownership of the designing and implementation of action plans
- Using the existing CRM to produce reports, and analyse the results to achieve objectives
- Representing the company at scientific events
- Ensuring compliance with the professional and ethical rules of the health industries, the company’s strategy and quality policy.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in a relevant role in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry (preferably in the Allergen Immunotherapy, allergy, respiratory, paediatrics, or related environment)
- Ideally have a network of potential KOLs and prescribing doctors in the allergy market in Finland
- Good understanding of local healthcare systems and drug legislation
- Able to cover accounts in the whole nation with travel. Able to live strategically to this task
- At ease with science-driven content, having either preexisting medical knowledge of the field, or the ability to acquire it
- Proven track record of self-initiating successful projects with a hands-on approach
- Self-driven, autonomous, proactive, and solution oriented, with an innovative mind for problem-solving
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a team-player attitude
- Fluency in Finnish, and proficiency in English
