You will be globally responsible for driving an ophthalmologic asset/s from Proof of Clinical Principle through to launch and commercialisation, managing a budget and creating its value proposition to maximise the asset value and accelerate launch. You will hold a highly visible role in the collaborative effort to transform the lives of patients suffering with vision loss.

You will have high-level exposure to executive and board level personnel and will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate the scientific and commercial potential of the asset, making sure it meets the clinical gaps.

Responsibilities:

• Creating global asset programm stratergy and execute on a comprehensive, ambitious and deliverables
• Leading a cross–functional team of highly speciliase experts in clinica, medical, access and marketing
• Responsible for key financial, scientific, commercial, and other strategic decisions; endorse and integrate line function strategies into a consolidated Asset strategy
• Accountable for asset Target Product Profiles (TPP) and value proposition
• Creating scientific and commercial value of the asset, ensuring it can address clinical unmet need and improve current standard of care
• Implementing risk mitigation plans and identify new opportunities for an Asset

Job requirements:

• Advanced degree in Medical or Life Science, MD, PhD or MBA or equivalent experience
• Long term relevant experience in drug development industry
• Clinical or commercial background with strong strategic skills and strong business acumen
• Several years of experience in end-to-end leadership of a cross-functional team
• Global experience, worked with FDA/EMA
• Track record of successful launches
• Experience in developing business plans, successfully managing budgets and timelines and implementing key decisions
• Visionary leader with an entrepreneurial mind-set
• Able to engage with Sr. Executives across the organization to prioritize funding, align and validate decisions and support programs
